2012 International Conference on Integrative Medicine

The 2012 International Conference on Integrative Medicine will take place in Toronto in October 2012. More details will follow.

Acupuncture Updates

The Transitional Council of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (TCMPAO) has taken a major step towards establishing the self-regulation of the TCM profession.

In January 2011, the Transitional Council of the TCMPAO submitted the revised draft “Registration Regulation” and the draft “Professional Misconduct Regulation” to the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care for approval. The Transitional Council has done a lot of work in the past two years in developing these two core regulations.

Currently, they are developing the “Jurisprudence Course” and “Safety Program” which practitioners will be instructed to complete before applying for registration. Additionally, they are developing the “Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition” (PLAR) tools and processes.

The Province of Ontario is regulating not only Acupuncture but the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. The EBNMP Canada™ wishes to congratulate the Transitional Council on its progress thus far and we pledge our full support.

2010 International Conference on Integrative Medicine

The EBNMP™ Canada Board of Governors and Staff would like to thank all those who came out and participated at the "2010 International Conference on Integrative Medicine" at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto on May 29, 2010.

The feedback was wonderful from this intimate gathering. It was a great opportunity to connect with new members and reconnect with old ones.

2008 International Conference on Integrative Medicine

The Board of Governors of the EBNMP™ Canada would like to thank all those who attended and participated in the "2008 International Conference on Integrative Medicine" on October 19, 2008 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Vaughan, Ontario.

This years conference was a smashing success and many thanks go out to the exhibitors and organization team!!

2007 North American Conference on Natural Medicine

The Board of Governors of the EBNMP™ Canada would like to thank all those who attended and took part in the "2007 North American Conference on Natural Medicine" on Sunday November 25, 2007 at the Kingbridge Centre. 

The Conference was a huge success and thanks also go out to the organizers and exhibitors.
